System Options

System Options are used to enter information needed by Net•Yield to interface with your SMTP email provider.

System Options Fields
System Errors eMail Sender

Enter the email address for your Net•Yield system administrator to send them a confirming email when fatal system errors are detected on other user workstations. This must be a valid email address.

SMTP eMail Sender The default, system-wide account name for sending email from Net•Yield. The system will use the Forms email override when emailing forms; if defined, the user email account defined in User Settings or the system default. For example: Accounting@MyCompany.com or Corporate@MyCompany.com. This must be a valid SMTP account.
SMTPServer The address for your SMTP server. For example: SMTP.MyProvider.com.
SMTP Server SSL If you SMTP provider requires SSL then you must set this to Y(Y=yes).
SMTP Server Port If your SMTP service provided requires a specific port number enter it here otherwise it will use the default SMTP port of 25
SMTP Login User Name The user name assigned by your provider to login to your SMTP account.
SMTP Login Password The password assigned by your provider to login to your SMTP account. Enter the password twice for accuracy
Email HTML in Body If set to Y(Y = Yes) the system will use HTML in body of the email, otherwise transaction description only and reference to the PDF attachment will be displayed in body.
Fax Service Provider The fax service provider web site, if using a web-based fax service.
Old Code Conversion Mode If set to Y (Y=yes), the system will open up the Old ID fields for the item, customer, route, broker, vendor, terms, sales rep, and/or account that are used as part of the system conversion process from your old system to Net•Yield. Also, if set to Y, the Remove Test Data option is available from Business Models to remove test transactions that was entered as part of the training phase of the Net•Yield implementation. If set to N (N=no) the Old ID fields will not be available.
